Muhammad Ali in Hospital After Being Found ‘Unresponsive in His Bed’BY SPORTSBREAK STAFF IN BOXING
Boxing great Muhammad Ali is back in the hospital for the second time in just four weeks after house guests found him unresponsive in his bed at his home in Scottsdale, Arizona.
The former heavyweight champion apparently needed additional treatment after being treated for a severe urinary tract infection that led to Ali being hospitalized on December 20, 2014. He has released January 6, but finds himself back after just nine days. Ali will be 73-years old on January 17.
A source told RadarOnline that Ali, “went to bed Tuesday night, but didn’t wake up in the afternoon or evening the next day. He was sleeping for 24 hours.” Emergency services responded to a 911 call early Thursday morning.
Ali, a celebrated sports icon, suffers from Parkinson’s diseases and has been retired from boxing since 1981. Sources say he is currently in intensive care at a local hospital and is resting while surrounded by family and friends, including his wife Lonnie and daughter Hana.
