When the announcement of a collaboration between Maverick City Music and gospel legend Kirk Franklin came out earlier this year, we knew history was about to be made. Following the release of their collaborative album “Kingdom Vol. 1” and their ongoing Kindon tour, they literally shut down the BET Awards 2022 with such an energetic, powerful and inspiring performance with the new album’s smash hit “Kingdom” and some Kirk Franklin blast from the past.
