
Early Life and Background
Sinach was born and raised in Ebonyi State, Nigeria. From an early age, she showed a deep passion for music and faith, often participating in church activities. She studied physics at the University of Port Harcourt but later followed her divine calling into full-time gospel ministry.
Ministry Highlights
Sinach is one of the most internationally recognized gospel artists from Africa. As a senior worship leader at Christ Embassy Church (LoveWorld), under Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, she has led millions in worship across the world. She has written and performed over 200 songs, many of which have become global church anthems.
Her breakout song “Way Maker” became a worldwide hit, translated into multiple languages, and covered by internationally renowned artists including Michael W. Smith, Leeland, and Mandisa. In 2020, “Way Maker” topped the Billboard Christian Songwriters chart for 12 consecutive weeks, cementing her as a global gospel force.
