Early Life and Education
Joseph Omo Ebhodaghe, popularly known as Joepraize, was born on June 20, 1979, in Edo State, Nigeria. He grew up in a Christian home where he developed a deep love for music and worship from a young age. Joepraize attended the University of Jos, Plateau State, where he obtained a degree in Social Work and Administration. During his university days, he was actively involved in the choir and other church activities, where his passion for gospel music began to blossom.
Music Career and Ministry
Joepraize began his professional music career in 2005, and since then, he has become one of the most celebrated gospel music ministers in Nigeria and across the world. His breakthrough came with the release of his hit song “Mighty God” in 2007 — a worship anthem that continues to bless millions globally.
He has released several powerful singles and albums, including Alpha Omega, Most High, Everything is Blessed, Miracle Papa, and Joy Overflow. His songs are known for their inspiring lyrics, strong vocal delivery, and the evident presence of the Holy Spirit.
