
Piesie Esther is an award-winning Ghanaian gospel musician, songwriter, and worship leader, celebrated for her unique voice and anointed songs that have touched countless lives across the globe. Born Esther Asiedu on May 3, 1980, in Nsuta Atonsu, Ashanti Region of Ghana, she developed a passion for gospel music early in life and pursued her calling to minister through songs.
Her breakthrough came in the early 2000s with the release of her debut album, which opened doors for her in the Ghanaian gospel scene. Over the years, Piesie Esther has become a household name with hit songs such as Wayε Me Yie, Ziba Beko, Wobεdi Adanseε, and Me Nte Aseε.
In 2022, her single “Wayε Me Yie” became a nationwide anthem of thanksgiving and won multiple awards, including recognition at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA). Known for her spirit-filled ministrations, she has shared stages with some of Africa’s finest gospel artists and continues to impact lives through music and ministry.
