Nigerian Gospel artist Liatu Aweh recently unveiled her new EP, “Yabo Hills,” which translates to “Praise Hills” from the Hausa dialect predominant in Northern Nigeria. This compilation offers a fusion of contemporary praise anthems in both English and Hausa. The urban instrumentation infuses a modern pop touch to the Afrocentric rhythms.

Tracks such as “Sarai, Sarai (Remix),” “Mai Ceto Na,” and “God of Power” are particularly notable for their diverse musical arrangements.

Hailing from Plateau state and having completed her education in Northern Nigeria, Liatu Aweh masterfully blends Hausa and English in her captivating and motivational songs. As a singer, songwriter, and worship leader, her passion for music is deeply rooted in her Christian upbringing. It was in these formative years she developed a profound love for singing, with gospel tunes offering solace, rejuvenation, and vigour.

Liatu is joyfully wedded to Pastor Prince Michael, and the couple is graced with a daughter.
