Esmond Joshua is a Nigerian Gospel music minister, songwriter, and recording artist whose sound blends deep worship, contemporary praise, and indigenous African melodies with a message of hope, faith, and gratitude. Born and raised in kaduna state with a passion for God and music, Esmond started his musical journey in the church choir, in Kauna baptist Church where he discovered his calling to lead people into God’s presence through worship. Over the years, his unique vocal strength and heartfelt lyrics have distinguished him as one of the emerging voices in gospel music from Northern Nigeria. His music is characterized by spirit-filled worship, uplifting praise, and culturally rich compositions that cut across languages and tribes. With songs like Eloi Adonai, Nasara, Haske, and Zakin Yahuza, Esmond Joshua expresses his deep faith in God and his desire to see people experience victory, light, and divine help through worship. His much-anticipated 14-track debut album features powerful songs including Up and Grateful, Abhowulolunu, Heart of Worship, Vessel Unto Honor, Waye Babanka ft. D’Ben, Toron Giwa ft. Alpha Baze, Fire Brand, Seal of Promise and more - all written by Esmond Joshua himself.
