Editorial Policy

How we curate content and maintain trust across Revelationmusik.

Content Standards

We publish gospel-focused content that aligns with Christian values and our mission. We aim for accurate metadata, high-quality audio, and respectful artwork. We may reject content that violates copyright, contains hateful content, or is not aligned with the platform’s purpose.

Artist Verification Process

Verification helps listeners identify official artist profiles. Verification may consider profile completeness, consistency, identity proof, and a history of approved releases. Verification decisions are subject to review and may be revoked for policy violations.

Playlist Selection Criteria

Editorial playlists are curated for worship moments, discovery, quality, and relevance. Selection may consider listener engagement, production quality, lyrical content, and overall fit. Playlist placement is not guaranteed and may change over time.

Editorial Independence

Editorial decisions are made to serve listeners and the mission. Paid promotion does not guarantee editorial placement. Sponsored placements, when used, should be clearly labeled.

Copyright Compliance

Artists must upload only content they own or have permission to distribute. We respond to valid takedown requests and may remove content that violates rights. Repeated violations can result in account restrictions.

Music Storage & Archival Hosting

To support reliable and cost-effective music delivery, Revelationmusik may host uploaded music files on a public archival platform such as Archive.org. This helps us keep uploads available while we continue building and scaling our private infrastructure.
By uploading music, artists acknowledge that files hosted through this archival setup may be publicly accessible. Revelationmusik may later migrate uploaded files to private infrastructure, a different storage provider, or an internal hosting environment without changing artist ownership rights.
Upload consent is still required on the upload forms before any release is submitted.

Corrections Policy

If you find incorrect artist information, wrong credits, or inaccurate metadata, contact support. We review correction requests and update information when verified.
